Einhell's sustainability ambitions

Einhell products are characterised by a high degree of efficiency and high material efficiency. We achieve the efficient use of materials, for example, by consistently optimising the weight of all our devices. We achieve high efficiency, for example, by using brushless motors. High efficiency and efficient use of materials mean energy savings and lower CO2e emissions.

A key quality feature of all Einhell products is their long lifetime. Every product must fulfil strict minimum requirements in terms of durability. This is how we ensure that our customers can use our products for a long time.

Einhell offers a variety of guarantee extensions. After registration, our customers can extend the guarantees on Power X-Change products or rechargeable batteries by an additional year to a total of 3 years, and for brushless motors to a total of 10 years. In this way, we actively support our customers in extending the service life of their devices.

All Einhell products can be repaired and we guarantee the availability of spare parts for at least 10 years after the end of series production. This means that our customers can have their devices repaired for a very long time if necessary and extend their lifetime. Over 100,000 repairs are carried out each year at our headquarters in Landau/Isar alone. In this way, we reduce the consumption of resources and save CO2e.

All Einhell Power X-Change products are upwards and downwards compatible. This means that a new Power X-Change battery variant always fits on an existing device and vice versa. This means that if one component is defective, the other can continue to be used without restriction. This helps to reduce waste and conserve resources.

Einhell products and packaging are designed to be easily recyclable. In this way, we create the conditions for processing materials into secondary raw materials and reusing them. By closing material cycles, we save resources, CO2e and avoid waste.

Einhell already uses up to 90% recycled materials for cardboard packaging. We will also start using recycled secondary raw materials in the production process for various Power X-Change products from 2025. This will save resources and reduce our CO2e emissions at the same time.
