Nothing works for us without technical devices - from PCs and laptops to printers, scanners, smartphones and tablets. If Linux doesn't make you think of the name of a dog and "penguin" doesn't immediately evoke the association "animal", then an apprenticeship in the IT sector could be just the thing for you. We train IT specialists in the fields of application development and system integration.

During your training in Application Development, you will gain insights into the areas of software development, programming languages and various developer tools.

If you enjoy helping colleagues in the IT sector, then System Integration is just the thing for you. You will learn how to create support programs for our employees, manage IT systems and much more.

Department change:	approx. every 4 months	approx. every 4 months
Areas of work:	Mainly core IT tasks (first level & backend support; IT security) with excursions into other IT areas	Mainly IT area applications (software development & operation/ website team & international shops/ area specialists & project management) with excursions to other departments (mainly IT business software & IT core)
Possible tasks:	Installation, setup & procurement of IT hardware (computers, laptops, monitors...); setting up new workstations for our employees; processing employee concerns via our IT ticket system (1st point of contact for employees' IT problems); comparing offers and procuring IT software; further development & introduction of new programs; IT security issues	Software (further) development; planning, conception and programming of programs and applications; development of application-oriented and user-friendly user interfaces; use of various programming languages and developer tools; development of websites; adaptation and introduction of new IT software for the entire Group; support & supervision of our subsidiaries in IT matters (=IT consultant)
